I received a copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This did not affect my opinion of the book or my review itself.
This is an absolutely brilliant book.
The story follows Natalie Heller Mills, who has built quite the life for herself as a traditional wife in modern times. But she’s not telling her fans the reality of her situation. And when Natalie wakes up to a life where everything is not quite right, she decides she must be on a reality show-or being tested by God or the devil. Natalie must survive this unfamiliar life, and maybe even escape from it.
I loved this book, and completely understood all the hype surrounding it. It’s a fascinating, complex story with complicated characters (essentially no one in this story is likable and that works perfectly here) and really makes you question what you are reading. It made me think the whole time while being an absolutely gripping read.
I would absolutely recommend this book. Five star read for me.
